For over a decade, Syrian men, women and children have had to navigate the daily reality of indiscriminate aerial and ground bombardment, and the terrible living conditions of displacement camps, and harsh winter seasons.

Nearly 7 million vulnerable people face an uncertain future due to displacement, harsh winters, declining work rate and the collapse of the local currency, which has worsened and deteriorated economic conditions. 90% of the Syrian population are living below the poverty line.

Displaced families have very little or no income at all as the currency has reached its lowest rates. This has led to a deterioration of the humanitarian situation, which poses a threat to the lives of millions of vulnerable people if emergency assistance is not provided to them. 

We will be travelling to Syria to personally deliver Zakat and Cash grants to families in desperate need.
